What is SiN? SiN is the world. SiN is God. SiN will be your life after you get it. Use an incredible arsenal including laser-sighting sniper rifles, remote control detonation devices, and if you lose all of those, get down and dirty with a blood spilling fist fight. Go through six unique environments enriched with Quake II-engine powered graphic detail. You can interact with enhanced AI beings, avoid them, or kill em. Every move you make, or fail to make affects the future.

Elexis Sinclaire is waging her holy war against the security industry with her unholy army of genetically engineered mutants. You are Colonel John R. Blade, head of the last standing private protection agency in Freeport. You've a made a religion out of fighting crime, now you're gonna make Elexis pay for her SiNs.

Using the Quake II engine, SiN also as he roots of a great multiplayer game. Standard SiN multiplay includes only deathmatch; as of now SiN coop play is not supported nor planned for. This game is also very realistic. You can get shot off the helicopter in the first level, shatter the lights, blast the tables apart, and even take headshots that kill instantly. Be careful to watch your back, or somebody might just jump through a window and get the best of you. In another example, what if glass is in the way of your shot? Shoot right through the glass and then take your shot.

Review of Demo:

This game supports OpenGL which improves the textures greatly though they are already at an outstanding size. Its large arsenal supports the many kinds of targets you must kill. The environments use BSP node technology to create ultra-realistic high brush levels. As with Hexen II, destructable objects or brushes are included in the mix. As for believablility, a decent amount of textures have been created to give the player the most realistic feel for the situations that arise. As for the enemies and characters, high triangular polygonal models are used with a large number of scenes to create relistic creatures and opponents. As with standard 3-D models, skins are used with the models and they do not use skeletal animation. One enjoyable feature is the use of damaged skins where damage is painted onto the model whereever they were injured. Another incredible feature thrown into SiN's gameplay are action-based outcomes or ABO. This feature allows a text file to be included with maps which enables scripted functions and outcomes to change by the user's actions. In terms of fun and replayability, SiN pushes all the right buttons. The sounds are recorded in 22 KHZ, 8-bit mono for an extremely realistic experience. SiN is played with sounds that accompany the environment and the characters in it. While running through the bank, voices can be heard of expression such as, 'Cover me!' and 'Blade, where are you?!?'  Though it doesn't have the visual splendor that Unreal had, it does beat it in one category, gameplay and believability.
