Dan Lee

drow1.jpg (14118 bytes)

Long ago, Dan Lee and his forces from the underworld invaded the surface dwellers in the region now known as Amblix's Realm. They looted, massacred, and raped everyone in the villages that they raided. Dan Lee was originally a servant-general of a demon, named Offerror. After killing Offerror, he made himself ruler of Offerror's domain. When he heard about surface world, he rallied his armies and looked for the legendary passage that would give him eternal power. Eventually, Dan Lee found the passage, but the trap, set by an old wizard, killed many of his minions. Though he suffered heavy casualties, he made it too the surface world where he had his minions breed to replenish their numbers. With each new successful raid, the Loian army grew stronger and larger in numbers. Not even the strongest of the realm's armies could decisively defeat the Loians. Then came Amblix........

Amblix

He was born to a young couple in the small town of Farun where he also learned the art of armed fighting and many other skills. He was only 17 years old when the Loians began their invasions. His peaceful village was the second one to be raided. The people living there fought bravely to defend their homes but in the end, he was the only one left to seek revenge another day. He fled to the next village where he rallied his own army of farmers and trained them. The next month, an army of the realm was dispatched to battle the an invading Loian army. The army battled the Loians bravely but were badly outnumbered. Then, just when the Loian army was about to dispatch it's last wave of attack, Amblix and his army came charging down the  nearby hills from all sides. With rush of power, the army of the realm charged at the Loians. The three armies clashed in mixture of different beings, two against one. Amblix took the responsibility upon himself to deal with the Loian general, Ogrim. The two leaders battled endlessly....suddenly Amblix raised his sword high and pointed it at Ogrim, whispering to himself, "Ice!".  A blue, bright blast of chilling light hit Ogrim's sword shattering it only pieces of ice. Then, with a swipe of his sword, Elvendor, he slashed completely through Ogrim's stomach area cutting him in half. By the end of the day, Amblix and the armies of the realm were victorious, having obtained their revenge for the misdeeds of the Loians. When the army returned to the capitol, Elmentle, they were hailed as heroes, and it was decided unanimously that Amblix should ascend to the throne...thus giving the name "Amblix's Realm" to the land that he defended.

DarKDemoN

DarKDemoN, a demonic creature originating from the underworld, migrated to the surface world when he heard about Dan Lee's ascension. DarKDemoN battled the Loian forces in the underworld and was determined to do so in the surface world. Bringing his few remaining clan members, he ascended to the surface world and brought his clan to live in the mountains in the eastern end of Amblix's Realm. Eventually, Dan Lee found out about DarKDemoN and his clan and led an invasion to destroy them. Fortunately, Amblix was leading his own army to intercept the Loians. Also, because of professional scouts, DarKDemoN learned about the Loian invasion in time to build shelters for his clan members and gather his soldiers to plan an ambush. The next, in the dead of the night, both Amblix's and DarKDemoN's forces pounded the Loians from both sides, killing many of them before they retreated. After the victorious battle, Amblix approached DarKDemoN puzzled as to why demons would help him defeat their own kind. DarKDemoN explained that he fought only to defend his people from the Loians. Amblix replied, "You fight to defend to your home, which is in this realm. And I fight to defend this realm, therefore, I would like to  make you my one of my highest generals." DarKDemoN took the offer graciously and then rallied his army on top of the nearest hill where they disappeared mysteriously...

In the following years, Amblix left DarKDemoN on many quests and adventures which he would never forget. Although he often fought alongside Apokalips, as well as Amblix, he never got along with him. The King often sent them on errands together, though he knew they weren't exactly very well aquanted. But, he also knew that they were better than any other team possible when it came to the impossible. Often, off the battlefield, they would get in many brawls over things of little importance only to be broken up by their own clansdemons and soldiers. DarKDemoN's most prized possession was his mighty war axe, Lucifer. This enchanted, double-headed axe was crafted from the finest wood teleported from the surface world and its blade was melded into shape from strong steel by one of the most competitive demon weaponsmiths. Enchanted as a successful prototype by the mighty sorcerer, Azol-Bok, with the power of fire magiks, the axe was eventually stolen by a war general. Several years later, DarKDemoN, as a young demon, had a dream which told him to defeat the general to begin his great destiny. He traveled to many different places in search of this general, and within a few years, he had found his destiny. The unknowing general fell asleep in his quarters when DarKDemoN revealed himself and attacked. The general became alert quickly and they fought for hours. Eventually, DarKDemoN cunningly tricked the general into his death and, after so many years, took up his destiny, Lucifer. As he raised the axe to the sky, huge, bright arches of fire sprayed from it and its handle seemed to magically transform to fit DarKDemoN's own grip...

Apokalips

Apokalips.jpg (21986 bytes)

Apokalips was one of the original generals of the realm before Amblix ascended to the throne. He fought bravely to defend his home when the Loians rose from the underworld and began their slaughterings. During his long enlistment in the Armies of the Realm, he rose through the ranks and gathered many pieces of enchanted armor and weapons during his innumerable campaigns. Before the old king, Araong, was assassinated by Dan Lee, Apokalips commanded his own small legion called the Dragon Slayers. They were known throughout the land as the best there was. During the first battles with the Loians, many of Apokalips soldiers were killed or captured in battle. After Amblix came to power, he appointed Apokalips general and Apokalips, in turn, appointed many of the soldiers in his old legion in much higher positions. When Amblix appointed DarKDemoN, a demon, general, Apokalips had already developed a observable hatred for all demons, after seeing what they had done to his legion. He was outraged and took a fortnight's leave to think things through in his home that lied within the Pegasus Mountains, Western Realm. When he returned, he had decided that  he still wanted to remain as one of the Realm's generals, but had no more respect for DarKDemoN as he did before he left for the mountains. In future years, Apokalips went with and led Amblix on many daring adventures and quests.
